I am expecting to graduate from Western Sydney University in early 2027 with a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Recreational Therapy. Following my graduation, I intend to sit the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) exam and, upon successfully passing the examination and meeting the relevant requirements, obtain NCTRC certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).

560 hours of placement in a clinical setting. Under the Supervision of the senior Leisure and Lifestyle officer (LLO), my experience included conducting assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of inpatients and community clients. Working along side team, I developed a deep appreciation for the value of Leisure and Lifestyle/ Recreational therapy for older adults with dementia. 

Hornsby Ku-ring-gai: Adult mental health unit 
October- November 2025

80 hours of supervised work placement.
Observed and participated in the delivery of recreational and diversional activities for adults receiving inpatient mental health care.
Supported individual and group-based therapeutic activities designed to promote engagement, wellbeing and participation.
Assisted consumers to participate in meaningful leisure, social and recreational experiences appropriate to their individual needs and interests.
Worked alongside members of a multidisciplinary healthcare team and developed an understanding of different professional roles within an inpatient mental health setting.
Attended multidisciplinary meetings and had supervisory meeting every afternoon and received feedback.

Luz All Abilities services- Lane Cove 

80 hours of supervised work-placement.
Assisting in programs in the facility and meeting the client’s needs and objectives.
Assisting supervisor with designing day-to-day programs and running the program to achieve the goals.
Walking activity with children at the facility and allow them have independence.

Sun doctors, Frenches forest- Nurse 
November 2022- April 2023

Assisting doctors in surgical procedures, managing wounds, preparing clinical equipment, and providing care and education.
Tracking pathology results and help coordinate treatment follow-ups
Sterilize medical instruments, manage stock, and handle clinical software records.
Prepared patients for procedures and provided post-procedure care and wound management.
Performed wound dressings and provided patients with post-treatment care instructions.
